Increased foreign investment in the Brazilian city of Portugal

Due to the strong economy and upcoming FIFA World Cup, Olympic Games and other sports events, investment in Brazil is increasing. One area where foreign investment has increased significantly is the northeast, especially major cities such as Rio Grande Nord, Natal and Portugal.

Portugal is one of the largest cities in Brazil and has been a major port on the northeast coast for many years. The construction area has a population of nearly 3.5 million and an area of 312 square kilometers (120 square miles). This means that the population density here is very high, which is actually the highest in the country.

This city has a long history, which can be traced back to 1500 years, when the Spanish discovered this site. However, the Treaty of Told Sirias later handed over the northeastern part of Brazil to the Portuguese, who built a fortress and a new Portuguese village (“New Portugal”) in the region at the beginning of the 16th century. They also temporarily ceded the area to the Dutch, then recaptured it, and renamed the settlement “Fortaleza de Nossa Senhora da Assuncao”.

In 1799, the surrounding area of Sierra was separated from Pernambuco and became its own castle. Butaleza was elected as the new capital. In the next century, that is, the 19th century, Butaleza will become an increasingly important and rapidly developing urban center in the region, mainly thanks to the cotton crops widely planted in the region. Butaleza was a famous city during the Brazilian civil war in the mid 1820s. It is part of the struggle between the Brazilian federal government and the north-eastern split provinces, which are trying to build a new independent country, the so-called “Equatorial Federation”. Although the attempt failed, Brazil remained intact. In the middle of this century, Fortaleza expanded and improved its physical infrastructure and the social status of ordinary citizens. For example, in 1884, Sierra (Portaleza) released all black slaves several years earlier than the rest of the country.

The population of the city grew very slowly in the first decades of the 20th century. For example, it was not until 1922 that the city reached 100000 vehicles. By today’s standards, of course, it was very small, but it was not bad at all at that time. The migration of people from rural to urban areas is also a mobile week system in the history of vision around the world, as is the case in Butaleza. In order to find opportunities, jobs and money, old rural residents poured into big cities. In the 1960s, when the new industrial zone encouraged more companies and enterprises to open or expand in the city, this flow increased greatly. On the contrary, this region needs more workers, so more workers have come, so this cycle has continued to this day. In general, there are many different opportunities for successful short-term investments. Of course, there are also long-term investments, including agriculture, agricultural land and the recently popular “family life” social housing plan. The plan is a major measure of the city at present.

In the recent century, Fortalay has greatly improved its overall layout and facilities, and built new and better main roads and social facilities, such as hospitals and cultural centers. Tourism has also become more important. The city and its surrounding areas are currently one of the main destinations of Brazil’s tourism industry. The city will become one of the host cities of the FIFA World Cup in 2014. Of course, the understanding will be held in Brazil.
